The Fours Seasons Hotel Secret
It is a public beach but accessible by private property. The property belongs to the Four Seasons Hotel, and by Costa Rican law it must allow access to the beach, so it facilitates transportation from its parking lot for visitors.
In times of Covid take into account that the bus passes every 30 minutes, and with a capacity of 15 passengers, it only requires a mask for these 15 passengers.
Within the property there are 4 beaches available for tourists: Nacascolo, Blanca, Prieto and Virador.
For Playa Blanca, keep in mind that you must walk 516 steps and that if the tide is high (9 pm and 3 pm) your feet will get wet to cross it, as the portion of the beach between the mountain and the sea is narrow in some points.

How to get there
4 hours driving from San José, drive to route 27, passing Orotina, then exit by El Roble taking Interamericana route. After Abangares drive until Liberia, next drive for an hour until Peninsula de Papagayo.
